With almost a dozen airframes built and T&E Stage 2 almost complete, we await the Wisconsin winter to abate so we can have a first flight and figure out exactly what it can do.
A kite planform, with DALE reinforcing the wings, the Diamant looks to be a solid little airplane.
Roll Out of Diamant
Similar to Goblin in layout, the new aircraft has more folds, a reinforced wing, and sleeker slant to its fuselage, plus a clipped fin.
Banshee Returns to Active Duty
Coming back from its stint as a support aircraft in the reserves, Banshees have re-established themselves as the Close Range Strikers. But like so many other planes right now, they await some flight testing to see how long they stay in their (precarious) current position.
SuperNova Primed to Take Over Medium Airlift/Bomb Duty
Upon the impending retirement of the Windcutter legacies Cutlass and Petrel, the up-sized Nova variants are being delivered to medium airlift and bomb squadrons all over IVPAC. The examples seen on the right are actually almost the same dimensions as their new heavy airlift/bomb cousins, Pilum. The difference being in the inherent strength of the frame of Pilum being able to take larger payloads than SuperNova, plus the possibility of these aircraft stepping down a factor in overall dimensions for the role.
